week 3 of class

Week number 3.  This week we were discussing privacy on facebook and the internet.  We talked about a teacher that was being reprimanded for a comment that she made on facebook about her school.  We also looked at the applications on facebook and how we could use them in education.  We were also asked to create an application or idea for an application to use in our classroom or business.

Week 2 of class

Wow....I never thought this day would come.  I am actually a blogger.  I have never really been interested in blogging nor in a bloggers perspective but yet, here I am. 

Well, this week in my class we have been discussing the pitfalls of wikis....just what do you think they are??? No really, tell me what you think!!!!

We also had to come up with some assignements for using a wiki.....something else I never really saw me using or even knowing anything about it.  But I guess stanger things have happened.

Next, I will be off to set up a twitter account.  http://twitter.com/ blkobsidian (Right---you guessed it....another application I had no desire of using before now.

Let's see which one if any catches my attention!!!
